About Kristen
Kristen Mulrooney is a humorist and satirist based in a small town near Boston. She is the winner of the 2022 Erma Bombeck Humorist-in-Residence program. Her writing has been featured in The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, House Beautiful, amongst others.
Her words and wisdom on the pitfalls of motherhood appear in her McSweeney’s column “Letters to Mom”. She is the co-author of the best-selling Gilmore Girls: The Official Cookbook. Her humor books Barbie IRL and How Not to be a Basic Peasant are available where books are sold, with more to come, always more to come.
